Freddie Stephenson: Murphy Golf Canada Junior Brand Ambassador & GOLFJOY College Intern
Freddie “Fred” Stephenson (b. 2007) is a Toronto-based student and competitive junior golfer. A dual citizen of Canada and Thailand, Fred began George Brown College at age 17 and has already completed the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program, reflecting his “scholar first” identity and interest in finance.
On September 1st 2025, Fred joined Murphy Golf Canada as a Junior Brand Ambassador and college intern, primarily representing the innovative GOLFJOY Spica 3 and GDS Pro portable launch monitors and gaining hands-on experience in business and brand development.
On the course, Fred continues to build a strong competitive record. His Summer 2025 results so far include: Golf the 6ix City of Toronto U19 Champion at Don Valley, Dentonia Park Champion (par 3 shot -2, 52), 2nd place finishes at CJGA Milton (1st round -1, 71) and Golf the 6ix Tam O’Shanter, 3rd at CJGA Woodington Lake, and a quarter-final appearance at the CJGA Match Play Championship.
Fred’s profile combines academics, financial training, and golf achievement, making him a well-rounded representative of GOLFJOY’s values of learning, discipline, and performance.

Freddie has extensive use and knowledge of launch monitor systems. Radar based are hard to set up and calibrate. The GOLFJOY Spica 3 & GDS Pro have a gyroscope which is the first key point to know: just place on it ground, outside or inside and it is ready to go.
